TORONTO — Police say a fire that killed a boy inside a home north of Toronto is not suspicious.
York regional police say the body believed to belong to a 12-year-old boy was found inside the Markham, Ont., home Tuesday.
They say they were called to the home shortly after 10 a.m. Sunday for reports of a fire.
There they found three people who were taken to hospital while another son was unaccounted for.
Police say a 41-year-old woman, her six-year-old son and 14-year-old son are in critical condition.
They say the father of the family was away from the home at the time.
