Replacement shuttle buses will be running along the route, the TTC said.

Subway service will be closed on Line 1 from Bloor-Yonge to Osgoode stations over the weekend.

The closures on Saturday and Sunday are due to planned track work, the TTC said, adding that replacement shuttle buses will run along the route.

Riders have been advised by the TTC to use surface routes between Wellesley and Queen stations to connect to Line 1 along University Avenue.

Regular service is expected to resume on March 3 at 6 a.m.

All stations will be open, except College station, for the purchase of PRESTO fares, tickets and connection to surface routes, the TTC said. Staff will be available at stations along the closure to assist customers.

There will also be two extra Wheel-Trans buses operating between Bloor-Yonge and Osgoode stations for any customers in need of assistance, the transit agency said.
