Several large sinkholes have emerged on Parkside Drive after heavy rain Wednesday night, prompting a temporary road closure.
Parkside was reopened in both directions but down to one lane in each direction near High Park Boulevard as of early Thursday evening.
Flooding the night before caused the pavement to crack and part of the road and its curb to cave in towards the grass.
One of the holes is nearly three feet deep.
