Where to watch the Super Bowl in Toronto

We've found a few Toronto venues where you can hang out, enjoy some refreshments and catch the big match between the Chiefs and the Eagles on a big screen

Super Bowl Sunday is an American pastime also observed in Canada.

Looking for a spot to watch Taylor Swift cheer on her sweetheart, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, at the Super Bowl?

Or are you a Toronto football fan needing your fix after our own unofficial NFL team — the Buffalo Bills — lost out in the AFC championship game?

Perhaps you're only in it for the featured halftime performer, Kendrick Lamar, fresh off winning five Grammy Awards for his hit “Not Like Us” — a "diss" track aimed at Toronto rapper Drake.

Whatever the reason drawing you to the big game, we've found a few Toronto venues where you can hang out, enjoy some refreshments and catch the big match between the Chiefs and the Eagles on a big screen.

The game takes place at the Superdome in New Orleans with kickoff set for 6:30 p.m.

Here are a touchdown and an extra point's worth of locations in Toronto where you can watch the game.

1. Rebel Toronto

Billing their event as Toronto's largest viewing party for the game, Rebel Toronto at 11 Polson St. features an 85 ft. screen to watch the NFL championship. Doors open at 4 p.m. for this age 19+ party. General admission tickets are $20 with free ladies admission.

2. The Pint

The Pint Public House at 277 Front St. W. is a pizza, wings and burgers style sports bar that will be having an official NFL helmet giveaway as part of the night's festivities, which will also feature a DJ. 3. Illuminarium

4. The Wheatsheaf Tavern

You can catch the Super Bowl at The Wheatsheaf Tavern — Toronto's oldest bar — with half price wings and $30 beer buckets of Miller Lite.
