The City of Toronto has partnered with the Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE) Foundation for a highly anticipated winter event: the Toronto Maple Leafs annual outdoor practice.

This year, the free outdoor practice, sponsored by SportCheck, will take place in Mimico at the Prince of Wales Rink on Monday Jan. 27.

The practice, happening from 11a.m. to 12p.m., will cap off a weekend full of hockey-related activities.

On Saturday and Sunday, the venue will be host to Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Sceptres watch-parties, open skating times, a Maple Leafs Alumni Game, and a meet-and greets with Maple Leaf alumni.

Mayor Olivia Chow and Deputy Mayor Amber Morley will make an appearance prior to the outdoor practice on Monday, to announce details about the Prince of Wales Rink refurbishments.
