NDP Leader Marit Stiles has won re-election in Davenport.

Stiles has been the MPP for Davenport since 2018. She was elected leader of the New Democratic Party of Ontario in February 2023 in an uncontested leadership race, which was held to replace Andrea Horwath. Since then, Stiles has been the leader of the official Opposition at Queen’s Park.

Davenport is a provincial riding in the west end of Toronto that encompasses the neighbourhoods of Bloordale, Little Portugal and the Junction Triangle.

Provincially, the constituency has flipped between electing Liberal and New Democrat representatives to Queen’s Park. Federally, it is held by Liberal Party of Canada MP Julie Dzerowicz.

Stiles ran against Ontario Liberal Party candidate Paulo Pereira, an accountant; PC Party candidate Nick Pavlov, a real estate broker; and Green Party of Ontario candidate Randi Ramdeen, a political organizer for the federal Greens.
