The Canadian Food Inspection Agency on Wednesday issued a nationwide recall for Swiss Chalet-brand frozen chicken breast nuggets over the possible presence of bone fragments.
There have been reported injuries associated with the consumption of the branded chicken nuggets, produced by the company Olymel.
It is not yet clear how many people have been injured or specifically what kind of injury they suffered as a result of eating the nuggets.
Canadians have been advised not to consume, use, sell or serve the recalled product.
The chicken nuggets affected by the recall were sold in 700-gram boxes bearing the best before dates Sept. 7, 2025 and Sept. 26, 2025 and the UPC "066701011479."

Olymel initiated the product recall.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other items.
Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the point of purchase.
