Calii Love is expected to reopen at its original location on King Street West this winter.

Calii Love is set to hold a grand reopening at its original King Street location after being closed for three years.

The smoothie and salad bowl chain held a soft opening on Dec. 23, and will officially kickstart its full operations on Jan 11, 2025.

TorontoToday previously reported on the popular eatery’s plans to reopen but, at the time, questions remained about the fate of the chain’s Instagram-famous angel wings mural.

The mural was painted by artist Sarah Skrlj and was a popular photo spot for restaurant patrons and passersby.. But since closing in 2021, the “Angel Wings” have been vandalized and fenced off.

Instead of restoring or painting over the old “Angel Wings,” a new wings mural will be painted inside the store for guests, Calii Love owner Nirmal Patel told TorontoToday in an email.

“While we love the mural on the side of the building, we won’t be updating it at this time,” Patel wrote.

Calii Love’s reopened location at 367 King St. W. is now the second active site for the eatery. Calii Love has another location at First Canadian Place, which is closed on weekends, according to its website.

A third location will be coming soon, Patel notes, with more details to be released shortly.

The chain previously had restaurants in Union Station, Yorkville and at Yonge and Eglinton streets — but those three have all since been shuttered.
