Toronto is getting a new street name — at least for the coming month.
"Taylor Swift Way" will be unveiled Monday in honour of the pop megastar’s upcoming Eras Tour shows at Rogers Centre.
The city has designated the route from Nathan Phillips Square to Rogers Centre along Queen Street West, John Street, Front Street and Blue Jays Way to be named after the singer and will install ceremonial street signs.
Created in partnership with Rogers, the signs will be donated to the Daily Bread Food Bank to auction off after the concerts wrap up.
The new name will be in place for the month of November, the city said in a statement.
The name change received the near unanimous support of city council.
Daily Bread distributes food to nearly 130 member agencies running more than 200 food programs across Toronto — a network that now serves over 3.3 million client visits per year, the city said. Learn more at dailybread.ca.
The city has had a number of announcements in recent days related to public transit changes during the singer's visit to the city, as well as security measures put in place for the star's arrival, which is expected to be an economic boon to the city.
Swift will perform six sold-out shows at Rogers Centre on Nov. 14, 15, 16, 21, 22 and 23. Rogers is the presenting sponsor of the tour in Canada.
