Three people were taken to hospital Wednesday after a collision downtown at around 5 p.m.
Initial reports were that a pickup truck hit two vehicles, as well as a pedestrian and a cyclist near College Street and St. George Street.
The driver remained at the scene, the Toronto Police Service said.
Toronto Paramedic Services responded.
After initially saying injuries were being assessed, police reported three people were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police say a female pedestrian in her 20s, a male cyclist in his 50s and male pedestrian in his 40s, were taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
College Street was closed between Beverley Street and McCall Street for the ongoing investigation, police said.
Drivers were being urged to use alternate routes.
