Barrie police uncovered a vehicle stolen in Toronto during snow-removal efforts this week.

During the late morning on Feb. 19, officers were contacted about a vehicle parked behind a downtown Barrie business that was impeding snow removal in the parking lot area, according to police.

Police said the vehicle, a white GMC SUV, had been reported stolen in Toronto last Thursday.

The SUV, once uncovered from the buildup of snow, was towed without incident. Toronto Police Service was notified as to where it was being stored.
