Officers from the 14 Division were patrolling near Queen Street West and Bathurst Street when they observed a drug deal taking place, police say.
A 38-year-old, who was the subject of an ongoing investigation, was arrested and a search warrant was executed.
That's when weapons and drug paraphernalia were seized and three other young males were arrested, according to a TPS news release.
Nathaniel Williams, 38, of Toronto, was charged with assault with intent to resist or prevent arrest.
Williams is also charged with possessing and trafficking a Schedule 1 substance, possessing proceeds of crime under $5,000, several firearms offences and failure to comply with a release order.
Mubarek Ajetunmobi, 18, and Emmanuel Grant, 19, both of Toronto, were arrested and charged with firearms offences and breach of probation.
