Toronto police are trying to identify a suspect in connection with a downtown sexual assault that took place more than a month ago.
The Toronto Police Service (TPS) said officers responded to a call in the Bloor Street West and Yonge Street area on Dec. 18 at around 6:25 p.m.
Police said a person was walking in the area and was approached by a man who sexually assaulted them.
The assailant fled westbound on Bloor Street on foot.
The suspect is described as being in his 50s, tall with a thin build.
He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, red hat and camouflage backpack.
He also has two tattoos on his hand, police said in a release.
