The Toronto Police Service is trying to identify a suspect in connection with a sexual assault that occurred Wednesday night,
Police said on Thursday, Nov. 7, around 8 a.m., officers responded to a call for a sexual assault in the Bay Street and Lakeshore Boulevard West area.
Police reported the unknown male approached the victim from behind, sexually assaulted her, followed and attempted to engage in conversation with her, and eventually fled the scene in an unknown direction.
The suspect is described as five-foot nine-inches, 30 to 35 years old, medium build with shoulder length black hair and a black beard.
He was wearing a beige and white baseball cap, black short sleeve T-shirt, black Adidas track pants with white stripes along the sides, light coloured sneakers and had an olive green and black backpack on.
