A Toronto police officer was injured Tuesday while responding to a call about a man being threatened at Bathurst Street and Lawrence Avenue.
When officers arrived at the scene, a man “became violent,” Toronto Police Service said on social media.
One officer sustained injury to the head and was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect was arrested at the scene and was also transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
