Three teen suspects have been arrested after nine retail robberies across Toronto, York, Durham and Halton regions, Toronto police say.

Between Jan. 8 and Feb. 15, officers responded to the  robberies, where it is alleged that in each incident, multiple suspects travelled in stolen vehicles to retail stores with masks covering their identities.

They reportedly entered the stores with hammers and smashed glass display classes, taking the items inside.

High-end fragrances were stolen before they fled the area, police said.

In total, around $200,000 worth of fragrances were allegedly stolen during these robberies.

A multi-jurisdictional investigation was launched by the Toronto Police Hold Up Squad, along with other police units in the area, which led to the identification of the three suspects allegedly involved in the incidents.

On Wednesday, three search warrants were executed and two 19-year-old men and a 16-year-old, all from Toronto, were arrested.

They have all been charged with multiple counts of robbery with offensive weapon, disguise with intent, possession property obtained by crime over, and more.

One of the 19-year-olds, Adam Shin, was also charged with assault with a weapon.

A person with the same name and age as the other, Zain Shahzad, was also arrested in late January in relation to a car-jacking in Markham.

They were all scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.

Anyone with information has been asked to contact police at 416-808-7350, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
