Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a man near Woodbine Beach last summer.
The Toronto Police Service (TPS) says that on Aug. 8 at around 10:40 p.m. they responded to a call for a shooting in the Lake Shore Boulevard East and Joseph Duggan Road area.
Police said a group was heard arguing before gunshots rang out.
Dacia Mbongo, 21, of Quebec was found suffering from a gunshot wound and was later pronounced dead in hospital, according to a TPS news release.
On Tuesday, investigators executed search warrants in Toronto and Durham Region and arrested three suspects.
Ricardo Wills, 18, of Toronto and Kenneth Neil, 26, of Ajax, are each charged with second degree murder and robbery.
They were scheduled to appear in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre.
Lukiara Hunter-Wilmot, 19, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with manslaughter and robbery.
She was also scheduled to appear in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre.
None of the allegations have been tested in court and the accused are considered innocent until proven guilty.
