A homicide investigation is underway in Toronto's Corso Italia neighbourhood after a man was found injured and later died following an incident near St. Clair Avenue West and Lansdowne Avenue.
Toronto Police Services (TPS) said officers responded to a report of an injured man in the area around 3 a.m.
A male victim was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police have not disclosed a cause of death or further details in the case. A suspect has not yet been identified.
A portion of St. Clair West was closed to motorists this morning between Lansdowne and Earlscourt avenues. Nairn Avenue is also closed between Ascot Avenue and St. Clair Avenue West as police continue to investigate.
Police said drivers should expect delays in the neighbourhood.
