A man suspected of peering through the windows of a downtown residence last month is wanted on several outstanding warrants, including voyeurism, trespassing and failing to report to the police sex crimes unit.
The Toronto Police Service (TPS) said on Nov. 10 officers responded to a call from an address in the Henry Street and Baldwin Street area.
Police say a man had gone to the victim's address in the early morning hours on two separate occasions and was seen peering into the victim's windows and loitering on the property.
Police said the man is not known to the victim.
Police identified the suspect as George Braid, 52, of Toronto.
Braid is wanted for trespassing at night in connection with the most recent incidents.
Police said Braid is also wanted on several outstanding warrants including:
- Failing to comply with Durham Regional Police Service
- Harassing by watching and besetting, observe/ record a person expecting privacy and breach of probation
- Bench warrant
- Fail to comply to report to the TPS sex crimes unit
- Voyeurism, trespassing at night with York Regional Police Service
- Fail to comply with probation with Barrie Police Service
Braid is described as 5'11" tall and 180 pounds with a medium build, short grey hair, blue eyes and clean shaven.
