Police said they are continuing to investigate after shots were fired at a vehicle along Lake Shore Boulevard in the early morning hours on Monday.
The Toronto Police Service (TPS) said they responded to reports of gunfire aimed at a tow truck around Lake Shore Boulevard West and British Columbia Road at around 2:30 a.m.
A black vehicle was reportedly seen fleeing the scene.
Police said evidence at the scene confirmed there had been gunfire.
No injuries were reported, according to Toronto Police media relations Const. Ashley Visser.
Visser said police were actively canvassing the area on Tuesday.
Anyone with information or dashcam footage that may help in the investigation has been asked to call police at 416-808-2222.
