The Toronto Police Service (TPS) has made an arrest in an investigation of threats and harassment linked to an unspecified downtown workplace

Officers on Tuesday responded to a call in the Queen Street West and John Street area. TPS alleged a man sent a threatening email naming two victims and made a "disturbing and threatening" post on social media involving one of the victims.

The man then attended the victim's workplace where he was located and arrested, police said in a news release.

The TPS said it believes there may be more victims.

Darnell Chambers, 36, of Scarborough, was charged with two counts of uttering threats of death or bodily harm and one count of harassment by watching and besetting.

Chambers was scheduled to appear at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre on Wednesday.

None of the allegations have been tested in court and Chambers is considered innocent until proven guilty.

Anyone with information in the case has been asked to contact police at 416-808-7400 or to submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS (8477) or www.222tips.com.
