Police are trying to identify a suspect in connection with a sexual assault at a west-end subway station on Saturday at around 1:40 a.m.
The Toronto Police Service (TPS) says the victim and suspect were inside the TTC Keele Subway Station on the westbound platform when the man assaulted the woman and pulled her to the ground.
The man then sexually assaulted the victim before a witness intervened and the man fled on foot, according to a TPS news release.
The victim and suspect are not known to each another, according to police.
Police say the woman sustained minor injuries.
The suspect is described as five-foot-six with a medium to heavy build and brown facial hair.
He was wearing a green/beige jacket, black jeans, black running shoes, a black hooded sweatshirt with a "Toronto Raptors" logo, and a purple baseball hat with a yellow brim and a "Minnesota Vikings" logo on the front.
