Man stabbed in the neck at Church St. and Dundas St. E., police say

The Toronto Police Service said the victim, a man in his 30s, suffered 'non-life-threatening injuries'

A man in his 30s was stabbed on Friday night in the Church Street and Dundas Street East area, Toronto police reported. 

Authorities said the incident occurred around 7:40 p.m. 

The Toronto Police Service (TPS) said the victim suffered "what appears to be a stab wound to the neck area."

He was transported to hospital by paramedics. 

On Saturday morning, a TPS spokesperson told TorontoToday the man sustained "non-life-threatening injuries." 

The investigation is ongoing.
