A male suspect is in custody after being seen with a gun in the Christie Pits area, Toronto police say.
The suspect was reportedly seen entering a residence.
Nearby schools were put under hold and secure — an emergency response to a threat or incident in the general vicinity of a school, but not directly on or very near to school property. That protocol has since been lifted.
Officers continue to investigate the incident.
