A loaded Smith & Wesson semi-automatic handgun was among items seized in a drug and firearms bust in which two men and a woman were arrested, the Toronto Police Service says.
Police made an initial arrest Nov. 9 as part of a cocaine trafficking investigation, according to a release.
Officers later executed search warrants at two residences. Police said two additional people were arrested and a loaded firearm with 12 rounds of ammunition was seized.
Approximately 76 grams of cocaine and an additional 36 rounds of ammunition were also seized, said police.
Jonathan Alcaraz Lozano, 24, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with trafficking, possession and firearms charges, as well as failing to comply with a release order.
Jada Salsman, 18, of Toronto, faces five firearms charges as well as failure to comply with a release order.
Reinaldo Nicholls, 29, of Toronto, faces six firearms and ammunition charges.
All three were scheduled to appear in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre.
None of the allegations have been tested in court and the accused are considered innocent unless proven guilty.
