Toronto Police Operations said officials are on the scene at Broadview and First avenues amid reports of a house fire on Saturday afternoon.
Authorities said the fire began around 11:30 a.m.
Toronto Fire Services are working to extinguish the flames.
No injuries have been reported.
Police have closed off roads in response to the fire. Broadview Avenue at Gerrard Street East, as well as Broadview Avenue at Mountstephen Street has been blocked to the public.
