GALLERY: Let's go girls! National Women's Show comes to town

Annual convention continues in downtown core today and wraps up Sunday at 5 p.m.

More than 400 vendors have packed the Metro Toronto Convention Centre this weekend as the National Women's Show makes its return downtown.

Torontonians craving a girls' day out can browse a wide selection of products and services from small business owners and makers from around the country.

Organized sections devoted to hair and beauty, life and learning, health and wellness, and culinary and cooking have taken over the floor — all of which include demonstrations, free samples and unique goodies.

Attendees can also enjoy a variety of craft workshops, fashion shows and complimentary makeovers.

The National Women's Show runs until 6 p.m. Saturday and returns Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tickets are $15.75 and can be purchased online and in person.

More than 18,000 visitors are expected to pass through the convention centre over the weekend.
