The Christmas-themed pop-up cocktail bar Miracle Toronto has returned to Bloor Street West to fill people with holiday spirits while also supporting a good cause.
The seasonal watering hole — which serves holiday cocktails by Civil Liberties — says its focus is on kitschy decor, delicious drinks, and warm vibes that bring a "magical" over-the-tree-top Christmas experience to life.
A portion of proceeds goes to Miracle's charitable partner Nellie's Women's Shelter, for which the pop-up has raised $230,000 since 2018.
The website for Miracle, which bills itself as "prime holiday nostalgia," says it is supported by funding provided by the Government of Ontario.
This year, Miracle will be popping up at 875 Bloor St. W., home of Third Place, an event venue near Ossington.
Hours are Monday to Friday from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 2 p.m. until 2 a.m. until Dec. 29.
A limited number of reservations can be made through OpenTable at $22 per person until they sell out. The fee includes a welcome drink, popcorn for the table, and a Miracle branded beanie. Walk-in spots are also available.
You can take photos and have a cocktail with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 14 from 7 to 10 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 15 from noon to 4 p.m.
Organizers say $1 for every drink sold and a portion of the door fee goes to Nellie's, which provides shelter, education and advocacy for women and children in the GTA.
