Argos to host victory rally after Grey Cup win

The Toronto Argonauts are once again Grey Cup winners after defeating the Winnipeg Blue Bombers 41-24 in Sunday night’s championship game at Vancouver’s BC Place Stadium. 

The Argos are the Canadian Football League’s most decorated team. This is the franchise’s fifth win in 10 years and 19th win in total. 

The team will host a public rally for fans from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday in Maple Leaf Square.

At the event, the organization's leadership will give speeches and the team will hoist the Grey Cup trophy. There will also be a DJ and giveaways.

Quarterback Nick Arbuckle, who hails from California, was named the game’s most outstanding player, while wide receiver Dejon Brissett was crowned the Grey Cup’s most outstanding Canadian. Brissett is from Mississauga.
