Captain America: Brave New World
After meeting with newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross (Harrison Ford), Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) finds himself in the middle of an international incident in the sci-fi action superhero film Captain America: Brave New World. He must discover the reason behind a nefarious global plot before the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red. Being released just about everywhere, including at Varcity Cinemas, Cineplex Yonge-Dundas, Imagine Cinemas Market Square, Beaches Cinema and Scotiabank Theatre downtown.
Armand
After an alleged fight between two six-year-old boys, the parents and school staff are called in to clarify the incident in the Norwegian psychological drama Armand. Defamed actress Elisabeth (Renate Reinsve) is presented with scathing allegations that trigger a tangled web of accusations. As Elisabeth struggles to uncover the truth, a chaotic fight for redemption arises. The film had its world premiere in the Un Certain Regard section at the 77th Cannes Film Festival in 2024 and won the Caméra d'Or for Best First Feature Film. Paddington in Peru
The children's adventure Paddington in Peru finds the beloved marmalade-loving bear lost in the jungle on a high-stakes adventure. When Paddington discovers his beloved Aunt Lucy has gone missing from the Home for Retired Bears, he and the Brown family head to the wilds of Peru to look for her, the only clue to her whereabouts being a spot marked on an enigmatic map. Determined to solve the mystery, Paddington embarks on a quest through the rainforests of the Amazon to find his aunt — and may also uncover one of the world’s most legendary treasures. Lady and the Tramp
This Friday is a PA Day and if you're a parent hoping to get through the day and still have some energy left for a romantic Valentine's evening, Revue Cinema has you covered with a 70th anniversary screening of the animated Lady and the Tramp. In this 1955 Disney classic, Lady, a golden cocker spaniel, meets up with a mongrel dog who is obviously from the wrong side of town. But due to happenings at Lady’s home, she decides to travel with him for a while. Playing at 1:45 p.m at Revue Cinema, 400 Roncesvalles Ave.
