The Jonas Brothers dined at Toronto restaurant Adrak in Yorkville on Jan. 7, 2025.

The owner of a popular Yorkville restaurant was left "fangirling" after the Jonas Brothers popped in for a surprise meal on Tuesday.

Ambica Jain, the owner of the Indian eatery Adrak, shared the news on Instagram Wednesday when she posted a photo of herself standing alongside Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas.

"S.O.S.... fangirling mode activated, someone pinch me," Jain wrote, adding that she is "an OG Jonas Brothers fan."

Jain said the star studded visit was the "best way to start the year."

She called the musical brothers "down-to-earth and appreciative" and thanked them for dining at Adrak.

In an interview with TorontoToday, Jain said she usually isn't starstruck by celebrities, but was elated to see the Jonas Brothers come to her restaurant. She recalled having the band's posters on her bedroom walls while she was growing up.

Though she opted not to share the entirety of the celebrity sibling's food order, Jain said the Jonas Brothers "devoured" Adrak's lamb chops and also loved the eatery's chai biscuits.

Jain said the Jonas Brothers were "very pleasant" and "very kind" and allowed staff to take a few photos with them.

Adrak is a beloved eatery in the Yorkville neighbourhood best known for exceptional cocktails and signature dishes including thecha paneer tikka and slow cooked lamb. The restaurant was featured in the Toronto Michelin Guide in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

For Jain, keeping Adrak authentic — while still leaving room for creativity and play — has been the key to the restaurant's success.

"We like to be innovative, but we also like to keep that authentic touch to whatever we do. We want people to be able to walk away with something that they didn't know about, either the cuisine or the country that we're representing," she said. "We want them to take away something that they can connect with and that they can talk about post-dinner."

It is not clear why the Jonas Brothers were in Toronto this week, though recent social media posts from the celebrity siblings appear to show the Jonas Brothers filming an unknown project in the city.

The Jonas Brothers recently announced a new upcoming tour in line with the band's 20th anniversary. Though official tour dates have yet to be released, Toronto is expected to be among the concert stops.
