The TTC says it will buy 700 eBuses and install 950 charging systems over the next five years, at a total cost of $2.4 billion. In its recent budget proposal, the transit commission said it will also invest in climate adaptation and resiliency measures and reduce GHG emissions at a cost of more than $67 million.
